PROLASA is a non-profit, non-governmental, development organization in the Democratic Republic of Congo which provides a wide range of services to the people around Lake Kivu in the DRCongo.

Founded in 1990 by Désiré Murhima, PROLASA has provided primary health care, orphan care, spiritual care, education and community development to the people of North and South Kivu for many years.

The provinces of North and South Kivu in eastern DRCongo have been plagued by continued political unrest, waves of refugees, disease, poverty and volcanic eruptions for many years and amid these turbulent times, PROLASA has sought to bring healing, comfort and care to those who are suffering.
