PROLASA has begun a new project–ISTAC.  ISTAC stands for L’Institut de l’Enseignement Supérieur de Technologie en Afrique.  ISTAC opened its doors in September 2010 with 250 students in the Faculty of Nursing.  Construction is beginning for a new building not far from the PROLASA Medical Centre.  Students will get their practical training at the PROLASA Medical Centre and other hospitals in the Goma area.
